The MinedHype Gaming District is packed with fun mini-games and challenges. Winners can earn exciting prizes such as, game tokens, emeralds, mystery items, diamonds, and much more!

Gaming District Rules & Information

  • Read the game instructions before you play the game. The instructions are posted at every game and listed below.
  • Do not ask admins how to play the games.
  • Admins will not restore any inventory if you die.
  • Admins are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • Admins will not help you play the games.
  • Please wait your turn if a game is in use.
  • Please share the game if you see other people waiting.
  • Do not interfere while someone is playing a game.
  • Do not intentionally kill players. Do not do any tricks, pranks, revenge deaths, or jokes.
  • Do not try to cheat, hack, break, or exploit games.
  • Only use the items specified to play the game. Do not use random items to activate the games.
  • Do not be toxic, rude, or inappropriate.
  • Place any of your valuables in the ender chests before you play a game.
  • Do not steal prizes from other players.
  • Do not sell Game Tokens at /tpshop. All shops with Game Token trades will be deleted.
  • Do not AFK at the Gaming District.
  • Do not complain if you lose. It’s just a game!
  • Be positive, friendly, & respectful!
  • If you have any issues with the games or prizes please submit a report or notify admins through discord.
  • Not all games have prizes.
  • Not all prizes are clearly displayed on the game. Some prizes will be a mystery.
  • Admins may change the prizes periodically.
  • Play all games at your own risk.
  • HAVE FUN!

The Mini-Games

Community Center
Visit the Gaming District Community Center- a lively hub where players and friendly competition come together. Inside, you will find shops stocked with useful items, the Prize Booth, Lights of Luck, and the rules to keep every game fair and fun. The Builders wall highlights the mini-games and gives credit to the talented people who helped bring this area to life.

Lights of Luck Instructions:
• This is a single-player game.
• Throw 1 diamond on red carpet.
• Watch the redstone lamps light up.
• If all 3 redstone lamps light up, you win!
• If you win, the mystery prize will be dispensed through the white glass located to the right of the redstone lamps.
Prize Booth Instructions:
• Only one person should use the prize booth at a time. Please take turns to avoid losing tokens/prizes.
• To redeem your Game Token for a prize, throw 1 Game Token on the red carpet on the red wall.
• The mystery prize will be dispensed in the barrel on the green wall. Click the barrel to take your prize.

Floor is Lava

Floor is Lava Instructions (Normal and Hard Course):
• This is a single-player game and we recommend only one person goes through the course at a time.
• Enter the course of your choice and begin at the start point.
• Run, jump, crouch, or walk through the different obstacles to get to the exit.
• Complete the course by making it to the exit without falling into the lava.
• Do not use rockets/Elytra to fly through the course and keep an eye out for the extra challenge obstacle!
• Take advantage of the beds and ender chest at the entrance of the courses to secure your items before playing.
• For an added challenge, time yourself to see how quickly you can make it to the exit.

Swimming & Diving

Swimming & Diving Instructions:
• Play by yourself or find some opponents. This can be a multi-player game.
• Find a few opponents and test your swimming skills. Pick a lane and line up at the edge of the pool.
• Start swimming at the same time.
• Time the race to see who can swim to the other end the fastest. The person with the quickest time, wins!
• You can also test your diving skills to see how far you can jump. The person who jumps the farthest, wins!
• If you don’t want to swim or dive, you can relax in the hot tub or sit back on the benches and watch the race.

Wheel of Luck

Wheel of Luck Instructions:
• This is a single-player game.
• Throw 1 diamond in the hopper.
• Stand back and watch the redstone lamps activate.
• The item the light stops on is your prize and it will be dispensed from the white glass located at the top of the wheel.
• Helpful Hint: If you are not the one playing the game, please stand back to avoid picking up the prizes.

Mini Golf

Mini Golf Instructions:
Items needed to play Mini Golf: Fishing Rod and Snowballs (Items are available at the game)
• Play by yourself or find some opponents. This can be a multi-player game.
• Drop the golf ball (snowball) down on the wood starting line.
• Use the fishing rod to pull the golf ball through the course.
• Your score is the number of pulls it takes to get the ball in the finishing hole.
• If you are playing with multiple people, the person with the lowest number of pulls per hole is the winner.
• Helpful hint: Completely fill your inventory or stand back to avoid picking up the golf ball.

Pong

Pong Instructions:
Items needed to play Pong: Bow & Arrows
• Find some opponents and have a friendly competition. This is a multi-player game.
• To activate the Pong machine, hit the target block located at the top right corner with a bow.
• Once the machine starts, use a bow and arrows to hit the target block on the machine to make it move left and right.
• Hitting the moving target blocks will change the direction and prevent your opponent from scoring.
• You get 1 point when the Pong machine reaches the side with the striped banner.
• Keep track of your points by clicking the button on the point board to add a light.
• The person/team to light up their whole point board has 7 points and wins the game!

MinedHype Hall of Fame
Step into the MinedHype Hall of Fame- a space dedicated to the players who helped build the server’s story! The player heads are displayed alongside signs marking the exact moment each member first joined. Every head tells a story, and every sign is a reminder that greatness starts the moment you join the server!

If you would like to be added to the MinedHype Hall of Fame, drop your player head in the chest located at the top of the stairs at MinedHype Hall of Fame building.

Building of Luck

Tower of Treasure Instructions:
• This is a single-player game.
• Throw 1 diamond on the red carpet, then press the button located on the redstone lamp.
• Stand back and watch the redstone lamps activate.
• The prize(s) will be dispensed at the bottom of the tower.
Slot Instructions:
• This is a single-player game.
• Throw 1 diamond on the red carpet, then press the button located on the redstone lamp.
• Stand back and watch the slot machine activate to see where the reels land.
• Three matching blocks= Diamonds
• If you win, the diamonds will be dispensed from the diamond block.
Roulette Instructions:
• This is a single-player game.
• Press the white button to select your bet color (red/black/green).
• Throw 1 diamond block on the red carpet.
• Press the pink button located on the redstone lamp to spin roulette wheel.
• You will win a prize if the wheel lands on the color that you bet.
• Winning= double your bet. If you win, the prize will be dispensed from the diamond block.

Maze

Maze Instructions:
• This can be a single-player or multi-player game.
• Start at the entrance.
• Walk or run through the Maze until you find the exit.
• There is only one way to enter and one way to exit.
• Time yourself to see how quickly you can make it to the exit.
